The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. Applicants must graduate from a high school located in the United States. The Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2024 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000.

The Coolidge Scholarship is a prestigious, full-ride scholarship that covers tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years at any accredited U.S. college or university. Open to high school juniors of any background, it recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, interest in public policy, humility, and service. Finalists attend interviews in Vermont, and while only a few become Coolidge Scholars, top applicants are named Coolidge Senators and attend a fully funded summer summit.

Through the PATH Program, qualifying students may be eligible for additional grant money.

TALK TO ASSIGNED SCHOOL COUNSELOR IF YOU FEEL YOU QUALIFY. African American student, a resident of Allegheny County for one (1) year prior to entering an accredited post-secondary institution, recommended by School Counselor, unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, demonstrate leadership and excellence as exemplified through academic achievement and extracurricular activities, including commitment to community service.
